9:1
Καὶ ἐμβὰς εἰς πλοῖον διεπέρασεν καὶ ἦλθεν τὴν ἰδίαν πόλιν
kai embas eis ploion dieperasen kai ēlthen tēn idian polin
And having entered for a boat He passed over And [that] came the private city

kai idou prosepheron autō paralytikon epi klinēs beblēmenon kai idōn ho Iēsous tēn pistin autōn eipen tō paralytikō Tharsei teknon aphientai sou hai hamartiai
And Behold they were bringing to Him a paralytic at a bed lying And having seen - Jesus the faith of them said - paralytic Take courage children are forgiven of You the sins

And behold some of the scribes they said in themselves This He blasphemes

Καὶ εἰδὼς ὁ Ἰησοῦς τὰς ἐνθυμήσεις αὐτῶν εἶπεν Ἵνα‿ τί ἐνθυμεῖσθε πονηρὰ ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν;
kai eidōs ho Iēsous tas enthymēseis autōn eipen Hina ti enthymeisthe ponēra en tais kardiais hymōn
And knowing - Jesus the thoughts of them said So that Which think you evils in - hearts of you?

ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ὁ Υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας— τότε λέγει τῷ παραλυτικῷ Ἐγερθεὶς* ἆρόν σου τὴν κλίνην καὶ ὕπαγε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν

Ἰδόντες δὲ οἱ ὄχλοι ἐφοβήθησαν καὶ ἐδόξασαν τὸν Θεὸν δόντα ἐξουσίαν τοιαύτην τοῖς ἀνθρώποις

Καὶ παράγων ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐκεῖθεν εἶδεν ἄνθρωπον καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον Μαθθαῖον λεγόμενον καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ Ἀκολούθει μοι ἀναστὰς ἠκολούθησεν

And passing - Jesus from there he saw man sitting at the tax booth Matthew called And He says to Him Follow Me having risen up he followed

Καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοῦ ἀνακειμένου ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ καὶ ἰδοὺ πολλοὶ τελῶναι ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐλθόντες συνανέκειντο τῷ Ἰησοῦ τοῖς μαθηταῖς
kai egeneto autou anakeimenou en tē oikia kai idou polloi telōnai hamartōloi elthontes synanekeinto tō Iēsou tois mathētais
And it came to pass of Him’” reclining in the house And Behold many tax collectors sinners having come were reclining with - of Jesus on the disciples

kai idontes hoi Pharisaioi elegon tois mathētais autou Dia ti meta tōn telōnōn hamartōlōn esthiei ho didaskalos hymōn
And having seen - Pharisees were saying on the disciples of Him’” Because of Which with of the tax collectors sinners eating - Teacher of you?

Having gone however learn Which is Mercy will And not sacrifice’ for they came to call [the] righteous But sinners

Τότε προσέρχονται αὐτῷ οἱ μαθηταὶ Ἰωάννου λέγοντες Διὰ τί ἡμεῖς καὶ Φαρισαῖοι νηστεύομεν ‹πολλά› δὲ μαθηταί σου οὐ νηστεύουσιν;
Tote proserchontai autō hoi mathētai Iōannou legontes Dia ti hēmeis kai Pharisaioi nēsteuomen polla de mathētai sou ou nēsteuousin
Then come to Him - disciples John saying Because of Which we And Pharisees do fast many times however disciples of You not fast?

Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς Μὴ δύνανται οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ νυμφῶνος πενθεῖν ἐφ’ ὅσον μετ’ αὐτῶν ἐστιν νυμφίος; ἐλεύσονται δὲ ἡμέραι ὅταν ἀπαρθῇ ἀπ’ νυμφίος καὶ τότε νηστεύσουσιν

And said to them - Jesus Not are able - sons of the bridechamber mourn against As long as with of them is bridegroom? Will come however [the] days when will have been taken away from bridegroom And then they will fast

Οὐδεὶς δὲ ἐπιβάλλει ἐπίβλημα ῥάκους ἀγνάφου ἐπὶ ἱματίῳ παλαιῷ αἴρει γὰρ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἱματίου καὶ χεῖρον σχίσμα γίνεται
Oudeis de epiballei epiblēma rhakous agnaphou epi himatiō palaiō airei gar to plērōma autou apo tou himatiou kai cheiron schisma ginetai
No one however puts a patch of cloth unshrunk at clothing old tears away for the patch of Him’” from of the clothing And worse a tear it came to pass

Ταῦτα αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος αὐτοῖς ἰδοὺ ἄρχων εἷς ἐλθὼν* προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέγων ὅτι Ἡ θυγάτηρ μου ἄρτι ἐτελεύτησεν ἀλλὰ ἐλθὼν ἐπίθες τὴν χεῖρά σου ἐπ’ αὐτήν καὶ ζήσεται
tauta autou lalountos autois idou archōn heis elthōn prosekynei autō legōn hoti HĒ thygatēr mou arti eteleutēsen alla elthōn epithes tēn cheira sou ep’ autēn kai zēsetai
These things of Him’” is speaking to them Behold a ruler alone having come was worshipping to Him saying - The daughter of Me presently has died But having come lay the hand of You in her And shall live

And Behold a woman having had a flux of blood twelve years having come up behind He touched him of the fringe clothing of Him’”
