Ἔλεγεν δὲ παραβολὴν αὐτοῖς πρὸς τὸ δεῖν πάντοτε προσεύχεσθαι αὐτοὺς καὶ μὴ ἐνκακεῖν

elegen de parabolēn autois pros to dein pantote proseuchesthai autous kai mē enkakein

He was saying however parable to them to the it behooves Always to pray they And not to lose heart

widow however was in the town those And was coming to him saying Avenge me from of the adversary of Me

kai ouk ēthelen epi chronon meta tauta de eipen en heautō Ei kai ton Theon ou phoboumai oude anthrōpon entrepomai

And not he wanted at time with he however said in Himself If And the God not I fear nor man respect

because of yet the causes Me trouble the a widow this? I will avenge her so that not for an end coming she exhaust me

ὁ δὲ Θεὸς οὐ μὴ ποιήσῃ τὴν ἐκδίκησιν τῶν ἐκλεκτῶν αὐτοῦ βοώντων αὐτῷ ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός μακροθυμεῖ ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς;

ho de Theos ou mē poiēsē tēn ekdikēsin tōn eklektōn autou boōntōn autō hēmeras kai nyktos makrothymei ep’ autois

- however God not not shall do the avenging of the elect of Him’” crying out to Him days And night be deferring in to them?

I say to you - will do the avenging of them in quickness besides - Son of the of Man having come indeed He will find faith at - earth?

Eipen de kai pros tinas tous pepoithotas eph’ heautois hoti eisin dikaioi exouthenountas loipous tēn parabolēn tautēn

Said however And to some the trust against themselves - are righteous [men] despising others the parable this?

ho Pharisaios statheis tauta pros heauton prosēucheto ho Theos eucharistō soi hoti ouk eimi hōsper hoi loipoi tōn anthrōpōn harpages adikoi moichoi ē kai hōs houtos telōnēs

- Pharisee having stood he toward himself He was praying - God I thank to You - not I am as - the rest of the of men ravenous unrighteous adulterers — or And as this [man] tax collector

ho de telōnēs makrothen hestōs ouk ēthelen oude tous ophthalmous eparai eis ton ouranon all’ etypten to stēthos autou legōn Theos hilasthēti moi tō hamartōlō

- however tax collector afar standing not he wanted nor the eyes to lift up for the heaven but was striking the breast of Him’” saying God be merciful Me - sinful

legō hymin katebē houtos dedikaiōmenos eis ton oikon autou par’ ekeinon hoti pas ho hypsōn heauton tapeinōthēsetai de tapeinōn hypsōthēsetai

I say to you came down this [man] justified for the house of Him’” belonging to that - all - exalting himself will be humbled however humbling will be exalted

Truly I say to you who - not will receive the kingdom of the of God as child not shall enter for her

And asked anyone him a ruler saying Teacher good Which having done life eternal I might inherit?

Having heard however - Jesus said to Him [While] yet one to You is lacking: all how much you have sell And distribute poor you will have treasure in on the heavens come follow Me

Having taken aside however the twelve said to them Behold we go up for Jerusalem And will be accomplished all the having been written on account of of the prophets - Son of the of Man

kai hoi proagontes epetimōn autō hina sigēsē autos de pollō mallon ekrazen Huie Dauid eleēson me

And - going before were rebuking to Him so that he should be silent He however much rather he kept crying out Son of David have mercy on me

Ti soi theleis poiēsō ho de eipen Kyrie hina anablepsō

What to You do you desire I should do? - however said Lord so that I may receive sight

Καὶ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἀνάβλεψον ἡ πίστις σου σέσωκέν σε

kai ho Iēsous eipen autō Anablepson hē pistis sou sesōken se
