27:1

Πρωΐας δὲ γενομένης συμβούλιον ἔλαβον πάντες οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ πρεσβύτεροι τοῦ λαοῦ κατὰ Ἰησοῦ ὥστε θανατῶσαι αὐτόν
Prōias de genomenēs symboulion elabon pantes hoi archiereis kai presbyteroi tou laou kata Iēsou hōste thanatōsai auton
Morning however having come counsel received all - chief priests And elders of the people with of Jesus so as put to death Him

καὶ δήσαντες αὐτὸν ἀπήγαγον παρέδωκαν Πιλάτῳ τῷ ἡγεμόνι

Τότε ἰδὼν Ἰούδας ὁ παραδιδοὺς* αὐτὸν ὅτι κατεκρίθη μεταμεληθεὶς ἔστρεψεν τὰ τριάκοντα ἀργύρια τοῖς ἀρχιερεῦσιν καὶ πρεσβυτέροις
Tote idōn Ioudas ho paradidous auton hoti katekrithē metamelētheis estrepsen ta triakonta argyria tois archiereusin kai presbyterois
Then having seen Judas - having delivered up him - He was condemned having regretted [it] he returned the thirtyfold pieces of silver on the chief priests And elders

λέγων Ἥμαρτον παραδοὺς αἷμα ἀθῷον Οἱ δὲ εἶπαν Τί πρὸς ἡμᾶς; σὺ ὄψῃ

saying I sinned having betrayed blood innocent - however they said What to us? yourself will see

Καὶ ῥίψας τὰ ἀργύρια εἰς τὸν ναὸν ἀνεχώρησεν καὶ ἀπελθὼν ἀπήγξατο

Οἱ δὲ ἀρχιερεῖς λαβόντες τὰ ἀργύρια εἶπαν Οὐκ ἔξεστιν βαλεῖν αὐτὰ εἰς τὸν κορβανᾶν ἐπεὶ τιμὴ αἵματός ἐστιν

τότε ἐπληρώθη τὸ ῥηθὲν διὰ Ἰερεμίου τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος Καὶ ἔλαβον τὰ τριάκοντα ἀργύρια τὴν τιμὴν τετιμημένου ὃν ἐτιμήσαντο ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ

καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτὰ εἰς τὸν ἀγρὸν τοῦ κεραμέως καθὰ συνέταξέν μοι Κύριος

Ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς ἐστάθη ἔμπροσθεν τοῦ ἡγεμόνος καὶ ἐπηρώτησεν αὐτὸν ὁ ἡγεμὼν λέγων Σὺ εἶ Βασιλεὺς τῶν Ἰουδαίων; ἔφη λέγεις

Καὶ ἐν τῷ κατηγορεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπὸ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ πρεσβυτέρων οὐδὲν ἀπεκρίνατο

Τότε λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Πιλᾶτος Οὐκ ἀκούεις πόσα σου καταμαρτυροῦσιν;

Κατὰ δὲ ἑορτὴν εἰώθει ὁ ἡγεμὼν ἀπολύειν ἕνα τῷ ὄχλῳ δέσμιον ὃν ἤθελον

Being gathered together therefore of them said to them - Pilate Whom do you desire I shall send away to you Jesus - Barabbas or Jesus the called Christ?

Οἱ δὲ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ πρεσβύτεροι ἔπεισαν τοὺς ὄχλους ἵνα αἰτήσωνται τὸν Βαραββᾶν Ἰησοῦν ἀπολέσωσιν

καὶ πλέξαντες στέφανον ἐξ ἀκανθῶν ἐπέθηκαν ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτοῦ κάλαμον ἐν τῇ δεξιᾷ γονυπετήσαντες ἔμπροσθεν ἐνέπαιξαν αὐτῷ λέγοντες Χαῖρε Βασιλεῦ τῶν Ἰουδαίων
kai plexantes stephanon ex akanthōn epethēkan epi tēs kephalēs autou kalamon en tē dexia gonypetēsantes emprosthen enepaixan autō legontes Chaire Basileu tōn Ioudaiōn

Σταυρώσαντες δὲ αὐτὸν διεμερίσαντο τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτοῦ βάλλοντες κλῆρον {ἵνα πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν ὑπὸ τοῦ προφήτου Διεμερίσαντο ἱμάτιά μου ἑαυτοῖς καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν ἱματισμόν ἔβαλον κλῆρον}

Τότε σταυροῦνται σὺν αὐτῷ δύο λῃσταί εἷς ἐκ δεξιῶν καὶ ἐξ εὐωνύμων

Ὁ δὲ ἑκατόνταρχος καὶ οἱ μετ’ αὐτοῦ τηροῦντες τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἰδόντες σεισμὸν τὰ γενόμενα* ἐφοβήθησαν σφόδρα λέγοντες Ἀληθῶς Θεοῦ Υἱὸς ἦν οὗτος
