Τότε ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἐλάλησεν τοῖς ὄχλοις καὶ μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ

Tote ho Iēsous elalēsen tois ochlois kai mathētais autou

desmeuousin de phortia barea kai dysbastakta kai epititheasin epi tous ōmous tōn anthrōpōn autoi tō daktylō autōn ou thelousin kinēsai auta

He who however shall exalt himself will be humbled And who will humble will be exalted

Woe however to you scribes And Pharisees hypocrites - you shut up the kingdom of the heavens: before of men you for not enter nor the are entering do you allow to enter

Woe to you scribes And Pharisees hypocrites - you devour the houses of the widows as a pretext at great length praying on account of this you shall receive abundantly condemnation

ouai hymin grammateis kai Pharisaioi hypokritai hoti apodekatoute to hēdyosmon anēthon kyminon aphēkate ta barytera tou nomou tēn krisin eleos pistin tauta de edei poiēsai kakeina mē aphienai

Woe to you scribes And Pharisees hypocrites - you pay tithes of the mint dill cumin you have neglected the weightier [matters] of the law the justice mercy faith these things however did it behoove to do and these not to be leaving aside

Woe to you scribes And Pharisees hypocrites - you are like tombs having been whitewashed such as from outside - appear beautiful Within however they are full of bones [the] dead of all impurity

Because of this Behold I I send to you prophets And wise [men] scribes out of of them you will kill will crucify you will flog in - synagogues you will persecute from city for city
