Ταῦτα δὲ αὐτοῦ ἐνθυμηθέντος ἰδοὺ ἄγγελος Κυρίου κατ’ ὄναρ ἐφάνη αὐτῷ λέγων Ἰωσὴφ υἱὸς Δαυίδ μὴ φοβηθῇς παραλαβεῖν Μαρίαν τὴν γυναῖκά σου τὸ γὰρ ἐν αὐτῇ γεννηθὲν ἐκ Πνεύματός ἐστιν Ἁγίου
tauta de autou enthymēthentos idou angelos Kyriou kat’ onar ephanē autō legōn Iōsēph huios Dauid mē phobēthēs paralabein Marian tēn gynaika sou to gar en autē gennēthen ek Pneumatos estin Hagiou
These things however of Him’” having pondered Behold an angel of [the] Lord With a dream He appeared to Him saying Joseph son of David not you should fear to receive Mary the wife of You the for in on her having been conceived from [the] Spirit is Holy

τέξεται δὲ υἱὸν καὶ καλέσεις τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἰησοῦν αὐτὸς γὰρ σώσει τὸν λαὸν ἀπὸ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν
texetai de huion kai kaleseis to onoma autou Iēsoun autos gar sōsei ton laon apo tōn hamartiōn autōn
She will bear however son And you will call the [the] name of Him’” Jesus He for he will save the people from of the of sins of them

Τοῦτο δὲ ὅλον γέγονεν ἵνα πληρωθῇ τὸ ῥηθὲν ὑπὸ Κυρίου διὰ τοῦ προφήτου λέγοντος

Ἰδοὺ ἡ παρθένος ἐν γαστρὶ ἕξει καὶ τέξεται υἱόν καλέσουσιν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἐμμανουήλ ὅ ἐστιν μεθερμηνευόμενον Μεθ’ ἡμῶν ὁ Θεός
Idou hē parthenos en gastri hexei kai texetai huion kalesousin to onoma autou Emmanouēl ho estin methermēneuomenon Meth’ hēmōn ho Theos
Behold the virgin in womb will hold And She will bear son they will call the [the] name of Him’” Immanuel” which is translated With us - God

Ἐγερθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰωσὴφ ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕπνου ἐποίησεν ὡς προσέταξεν αὐτῷ ἄγγελος Κυρίου καὶ παρέλαβεν τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ
egertheis de ho Iōsēph apo tou hypnou epoiēsen hōs prosetaxen autō angelos Kyriou kai parelaben tēn gynaika autou
Having been awoken however - Joseph from of the sleep did as commanded to Him an angel of [the] Lord And received the wife of Him’”

καὶ οὐκ ἐγίνωσκεν αὐτὴν ἕως οὗ ἔτεκεν υἱόν ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἰησοῦν
